Choreography
Champloo specialises in bboying (breakdance) based choreography which draws on experience and influence from contemporary dance and theatre. The company and its choreographers Wilkie Branson and Joel Daniel can offer a flexible range of choreographic services.
On Stage
Their previous work has included dance productions that have toured internationally to Europe, North America and Asia with work in the UK being presented at Sadler’s Wells, The Place and British Dance Edition.
On Film
Champloo’s dance award winning film choreography has also been internationally recognised for its quality and excellence. With works being broadcast and presented at over 40 festivals and channels worldwide.
In Education
Tying in with their extensive record as international standard educational practitioners they have devised choreography for a wide range of groups including their award winning Youth Company which presented work at Youth Dance England in 2011.

Education
Champloo offers one of the country’s most comprehensive bboying dance programmes, having delivered workshops, lecture demonstrations and teacher training nationwide for more than five years. They provide young people with opportunities and experiences to build on and beyond the current curriculum being delivered.
As a contemporary dance-form at the forefront of the Hip-hop culture, which is so prominent within young communities today, bboying offers a unique opportunity to engage with children, giving them a pathway into more formal dance forms as well as transferable key skills. Its fundamental embrace of individual expression means the dance form is universal to all, involving boys, girls, all demographics and ethnicities. Furthermore, this all-inclusive engagement works both to empower the individual and to break down social barriers, strengthening our communities. Champloo’s dance form can reach a wide range of people, bringing motivation, self-worth and social cohesion, and has been shown to lead to improved behaviour and attendance.
As a professional dance company working with new directions and ideals for Hip-hop based movement they can also offer valuable programs to fit in with higher lever and professional dance students and their objectives.

Film
Champloo produces all its own dance films and documentation, as well as for other companies and artists. With over ten years experience in film production and post production work they offer a high quality production service that specialises in dance. Providing documentation, film production and trailers, their work has been screened worldwide and received numerous film awards.
